This Protapes 1" Console Tape - 7 Colors - 1" x 180 Feet is a paper tape used as console tape by sound and lighting engineers.

Camera assistants use it on stage floors to mark actors' positions. It leaves no residue, is easy to write on, and is excellent for color coding cases, equipment, files, and boxes. Artist's Tape is made by Pro-Tape and Comes in 4 widths; 180' rolls. Aka Spike tape. FKA Permacel P724.
